Mechanisms for reducing the shadow economy by increasing the financial literacy of the population.
In this thesis, the popularization of financial literacy is analyzed as a crucial institutional factor in reducing the scale of the shadow economy. The study examines the main threats of the shadow economy affecting the country's financial security, including the narrowing of the tax base, insufficient budget revenue generation, and the role of financial literacy in mitigating uncertainties in fiscal planning. According to the analysis results, the impact of financial literacy on the shadow economy manifests through a number of mechanisms.
